Restorative Yoga is a form of ‘active relaxation’ which involves the artful use of yoga props to create supported, therapeutic variations of the classical yoga postures. Restorative Yoga can help many chronic stress-related conditions such as Adrenal Fatigue, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Autoimmune diseases, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances. It’s also a wonderful practice for any body who needs a little more rest and restoration in their lives—ie: every body!!
This is also a practice that can be particularly beneficial during pregnancy and postpartum to help support the nervous system pre and post birth. As a doula and pre/postnatal yoga teacher, Nadine can offer specific support in class for those on this journey.
