Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing, therapeutic style of yoga designed to calm the nervous system and promote total rest. In a typical class, expect to hold a small number of restful poses—such as gentle backbends, forward folds, and supported twists—for extended periods, often 5 to 20 minutes. Props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks are used generously to fully support the body, allowing you to completely relax without effort.

The primary benefits of Restorative Yoga include stress relief, improved sleep, reduced anxiety, and support for recovery—whether physical, mental, or emotional. It helps shift the body out of “fight or flight” mode and into a state of deep relaxation and healing.

This practice is ideal for anyone needing rest and rejuvenation—whether you're feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, recovering from illness or injury, or simply seeking a quiet space to slow down. Suitable for all levels, including beginners, Restorative Yoga offers a nurturing experience where doing less allows for more profound release and renewal.

This class is also pregnancy friendly and supported by Nadine who has decades or pre and post natal yoga teaching experience
